Each week in June, we’ll explore a variety of cuisines throughout the county, showcasing recipes, foodie favorites, and the talented creators behind these culinary masterpieces.     Pupusa Fest 2024

    Sunday, June 9, the first inaugural Annual Pupusa Fest! Celebrate Immigrant Heritage Month with a vibrant Salvadoran festival. Pupusas unite us in honoring culture and heritage.     Fairfax CORE

    In celebration of Immigrant Heritage Month, Fairfax CORE is an extended resource for Fairfax County’s diverse community. CORE is an online platform, granting access to over 115 entrepreneur support organizations in and around Fairfax County. This tool provides entrepreneurs with quick and easy access to a searchable database, connecting them to the right experts at the right time. By filtering resources based on the type of assistance, industry, or business stage, entrepreneurs can find the exact support they need.

    Fairfax CORE also offers comprehensive business guides with valuable information for entrepreneurs and a robust events calendar featuring low and no-cost educational and networking events. To promote inclusivity, the website is translatable into 58 languages, and many resource partners focus on supporting diverse communities.     In celebration of Immigrant Heritage Month, “Made in Fairfax” is an initiative by Fairfax County and its partners to support small-scale production businesses and “makers” throughout the county. Residents and visitors can discover and support local maker businesses, contributing to the community’s equality, diversity and economic growth.
