What is the Shop Local Market?

The Shop Local Market initiative supports makers, artisans, and small businesses in Fairfax County and nearby areas through:

  • Technical support
  • Marketing support
  • Opportunities to sell their products to local consumers
  • Working in partnership with Made in Fairfax program, through the Fairfax County Office of Community Revitalization Section of the Fairfax County Department of Planning and Development 

Shop Local Market are part of our placemaking efforts, as they utilize spaces to create markets to serve local communities.
