Fairfax CORE
In celebration of Immigrant Heritage Month, Fairfax CORE is an extended resource for Fairfax County’s diverse community. CORE is an online platform, granting access to over 115 entrepreneur support organizations in and around Fairfax County. This tool provides entrepreneurs with quick and easy access to a searchable database, connecting them to the right experts at the right time. By filtering resources based on the type of assistance, industry, or business stage, entrepreneurs can find the exact support they need.
Fairfax CORE also offers comprehensive business guides with valuable information for entrepreneurs and a robust events calendar featuring low and no-cost educational and networking events. To promote inclusivity, the website is translatable into 58 languages, and many resource partners focus on supporting diverse communities. The One Fairfax Policy establishes shared definitions, focus areas, processes and organizational structure to help county and school leaders to look intentionally, comprehensively and systematically at barriers that may be creating gaps in opportunity. Made In Fairfax Network
In celebration of Immigrant Heritage Month, “Made in Fairfax” is an initiative by Fairfax County and its partners to support small-scale production businesses and “makers” throughout the county. Entrepreneurs looking to start or locate a small-scale production business can access resources, networking groups, and marketing opportunities. Residents and visitors can discover and support local maker businesses, contributing to the community’s equality, diversity and economic growth.
