Nature meets artistry at Green Spring Gardens this summer at the Potomac Valley Watercolorists Show! Explore over 100 original works from some of the region’s most talented water media artists, all inspired by the beauty of the natural world.

Kick off your Independence Day celebrations at one of the nation’s most iconic landmarks—George Washington’s Mount Vernon! 🎆

On July 4th from 6:00 PM – 9:30 PM, experience a patriotic evening filled with music, stories from about the War for Independence, and dazzling fireworks.

Fairfax's Freedom, Flip Flops, and Fireworks 4th of July celebration is packed with festive fun! 🇺🇸

Start the day with a classic Independence Day parade from 10 AM–12 PM in Downtown Fairfax, featuring marching bands, floats, clowns, Shriners' little cars, vintage fire engines, and plenty of hometown charm.

Then head to Fairfax High School Stadium from 6:30–10:30 PM for an evening of live music and community fun, capped off with a fireworks display at 9:30 PM.
