Reston Founder’s Day- Celebrate Reston!

Reston Museum and Reston Community Center are pleased to announce that Celebrate Reston!, formerly known as Founder’s Day, will take place Saturday, April 5, 2025 from 11:45-4:00PM on historic Lake Anne Plaza. Celebrate Reston!, now in its 21st year, brings the community together to celebrate Reston and honor its founder, Robert E. Simon. This highly-anticipated annual event will include fun family activities, live entertainment, local vendors, authors from across the region and will feature a special cake-cutting ceremony in celebration of Bob Simon’s birthday. Kwame Alexander, award-winning poet and author, will be the guest speaker.
