2025 Children’s Summer Reading Festival

Kick Off Summer Reading at Our 3rd Annual Children’s Summer Reading Festival!

The wait is over! Fairfax Library Foundation will be reprising its highly-acclaimed Children’s Summer Reading Festival once again this summer! This will be our third year hosting the festival, which is designed to encourage young readers to continue their enthusiasm for reading straight into summer vacation.

Join us! Saturday, June 14, from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm, at Sherwood Regional Library, 2501 Sherwood Hall Lane, Alexandria, VA 22306.

The festival will feature a wide variety of fun activities for children of all ages, including facepainting, henna body art, bounce houses, games and crafts, balloon artists, live entertainment, food trucks, a photobooth, and so much more!
