Let’s Go Expo

Get ready to celebrate multimodal transportation at the first-ever Let’s Go Expo! Celebrating transportation of all kinds, we are sure this event will be fun for the whole family!

Join Hunter Mill District Supervisor Alcorn and Celebrate Fairfax for a day full of activities focused on the creative ways to get around Fairfax County using bike trails, walking paths, bus system, metro, and other multimodal ways. There will also be face painting, balloon twisting, interactive safety demos, child IDs, giveaways, games, and so much more! The event is free, but don’t forget your money for the food trucks: Kona Ice and El Chef Latino.

EVENT HIGHLIGHTS:

• Hop on a Connector Bus and get information on fares, student passes and routes
• Reston police will offer FREE Bike helmet checks (kids and adults) so bring your helmets
• Try out a Capital Bike Share bike – and get coupons for free rides
• Check out FASTRAN, a county service that provides specialized transportation
• Learn about Silver Line Phase 2 and play interactive games
• Community Art Wall
• Musical performances by Vienna School of Rock
• Climb on & Explore: Fire Trucks, Snowplow, Buses, Police Cars and

If you are coming by car from Bowman Town Dr:

• • • Turn onto Cameron Glen Drive (you can follow signs for North County Government Center NCGC)
    • The NCGC/Reston Police Station on the left
    • Continue around the side of the building
    • Take the second right
    • The event will be in the parking lot on your left- in front of the North County Human Services Building
    • To park – continue past the event to the lot on the right

If you are coming by car from Town Center Parkway:

• • • • Turn onto Cameron Glen Drive
      • Take first left (NCGC/Reston Police Station is on the right)
      • The event will be in the parking lot on your left- in front of the North County Human Services Building
