DESCRIPTION:Hunter Mill District Supervisor Walter Alcorn invites you to join us for a community bike ride on 3 May 2026. \n\n\n\n\nAbout this event \nSupervisor Walter Alcorn invites you to Explore Hunter Mill District at the \nSixth Annual Tour de Hunter Mill \nJoin us on Sunday\, May 3 for a scenic roll through Vienna’s bike-friendly neighborhoods and green spaces. You’ll wind past local parks\, glide along the I-66 and Route 7 trails with their seamless transit connections and discover the hidden back roads that lead all the way to the iconic Wolf Trap Performing Arts Center. \nThe Tour de Hunter Mill (TdHM) is a community bike ride offering 2 routes (long & short) that change each year to offer riders a fresh view as well as highlight various bike-friendly areas of Hunter Mill District. \nWhether you’re a seasoned cyclist or just getting started\, this is your chance to explore the area from two wheels — with great company along the way. \nRoute Information: \nStart/End:\nMeadowlark Botanical Gardens \n9750 Meadowlark Gardens Ct\, Vienna\, VA 22182 \nhttps://www.novaparks.com/parks/meadowlark-botanical-gardens \n*You are encouraged to bike to the starting location\, but free parking will be available at Meadowlark. \nShort Route: 11.8 miles \n\nhttps://ridewithgps.com/routes/54489593\n\nLong Route: 19.4 miles \n\nhttps://ridewithgps.com/routes/54489584\n\nTdHM Ride Highlights: \nMeadowlark Gardens \nVienna Town Green \nRoute 66 Parallel Trail \nRoute 7 Trail into Tysons Corner \nVesper Trail from Tysons into Vienna \nWolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts \nFoxstone Park \nWolftrap Toll Road bridge \nThere will be a designated Rest Stop available along the long route. \nThis is a ride\, not a race – therefore\, there will be NO road closures . \nRide marshals and police officers will be on hand to help ensure a safe ride and assist as needed. \nTdHM Ride Registration Information \nOpen from April 1- May 3: \nFee is $30 per adult rider. We require a first name and last name for each ticket. \nEvent is rain or shine\, see policies below. \nRegistration fee covers rider & marshal insurance costs\, 2026 Tour de Hunter Mill socks and a $5 donation to Fairfax Alliance for Better Bicycling for coordinating the registration and other ride logistics. Fees are collected to fund the ride\, not for profit. \nChildren 15 and under are free but must be riding with an adult. \nOnce the adult is registered\, please send an email to the address below with your name\, contact information\, the child’s name & the child’s age and you will receive registration instructions. \nFABB Members automatically receive a discount when using the email associated with their membership.
