Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month
About the Inaugural Fairfax Fiesta Event
The Inaugural Fairfax Fiesta, scheduled for Saturday, September 23rd at The PARC at Tysons, was designed to celebrate Hispanic culture and diversity through a free, festive, and family-friendly event. After months of planning by the Celebrate Fairfax and the Fairfax Fiesta Planning Committee, we were excited to present a robust event as outlined below on the original event page. On Thursday, September 21st we learned the National Weather Service released a tropical storm warning and the difficult decision was made to cancel the event.
While we are disappointed, we have taken the information, resources, and videos from the event and compiled them into a digital event guide. Learn more about Hispanic culture, local resources, and small businesses below! Additionally, at the Tuesday, October 10th Board of Supervisors meeting, the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors, on behalf of all residents of Fairfax County, proclaimed September 15-October 15, as Hispanic Heritage Month in Fairfax County.
